WATER QUALITY

Know the water you’re ordering.

Clear information about our conductivity target and how to discuss a specification for your business. We supply demineralised, deionised and purified water from our Liverpool base.

Our conductivity target

We aim for a conductivity of approximately 1.2 µS/cm. If your process requires a particular maximum, measurement temperature or test method, please tell us before ordering.

ParameterOur current information
Conductivity targetApproximately 1.2 µS/cm (microsiemens per centimetre)
Specification basisAn indicative production target, not a guaranteed maximum or a batch test result. Confirm the required limits with us before ordering.
Other quality requirementsSend us any pH, chemical, microbiological or documentation requirements so we can discuss what is needed for your application.

Conductivity readings depend on temperature and the meter’s settings. This page does not specify a reference temperature; the measurement basis and any acceptance limits should be agreed for your order.

What does conductivity tell you?

Conductivity measures how readily water conducts electricity. Dissolved ions contribute to that reading, so conductivity is useful when comparing water for processes that need low mineral content.

A conductivity reading alone does not establish microbiological quality or confirm that water meets a food, pharmaceutical or laboratory standard.

Is 1.2 µS/cm the same as 1.2 ppm?

No. µS/cm measures conductivity. A TDS meter usually estimates dissolved solids in ppm using a conversion factor. The two numbers should not be treated as interchangeable.

For window cleaning or vehicle valeting, let us know your required conductivity or TDS limit and the equipment you use so we can discuss a suitable supply.

Tell us what your process needs

We offer standard and food-grade options. Please specify the intended use, the limits you need and any supporting documentation requirements. We’ll confirm what we can offer before you place an order.

Available formats include 500ml and 2.5 litre bottles, 25 litre jerrycans, 210 litre drums, 1,000 litre IBCs and tankers up to 30,000 litres. For repeat supply, include your expected order volume and frequency.
